Hydrology in the Pacific Northwest

Often overlooked as a major component of climate change is the hydrological cycle, which may account for more than 70% of the factors which are warming the planet. The water cycle is the planet's way of cooling itself and regulating temperatures. Due to dams, river diversions, and other disruptions to the hydrological cycle, we've severely impaired the Earth's ability to regulate itself, leading to wildfires, droughts, and dysregulated ecosystems.
